Why can't I send emails using Outlook? |

ANS: Please check if you have chosen "My server
requires authentication" in your Outgoing
Mail Server. The SMTP server of Corpease will
verify user's passwords when sending out emails.
This is to prevent user's account being used
without authorization to send out junk mails.
Please follow the instructions below to choose
this feature.
Tools -> Accounts -> Properties ->
Servers -> Outgoing Mail Server -> My

How do I send emails to multiple recipients
using the Web mail interface ? |

ANS: You can always send email to more than
one recipient at the same time. You only need
to separate each email address by using commas
(,), or semi colons (;), e.g. a@corpease.net,
b@corpease.net [close]

What is "cc" and "bcc"? |

ANS: If you put your recipients' email addresses
in the "cc" (copy) box, then they will be
able to view and have access to the email
address of each other. However, if you do
not want this to happen, you could put them
in the "bcc" (blind copy) box and these email
addresses will be not appear in the email

How big of an attachment can we send and receive
using CorpEase email service? |

ANS: CorpEase email system allows users to
send an attachment up to 30MB.
CorpEase email system does not limit the
size of any incoming email attachments;
however, you need to make sure that your
mailbox has enough storage to receive such
attachments. For e.g. if your mailbox storage
quota is 100MB, and you have already used
up 20MB, then the remaining storage quota
is 80MB. [close]

My mailbox is reaching its full capacity,
am I still able to receive emails? |

ANS: The system set a ratio between your total
email capacity and your mailbox capacity and
will send you an alert you when your total
email capacity reaches to a certain level
(Predefined rate is 80%, domain administrators
have the authority to amend this ratio). This
alert will remind you to clear up your mailbox
when you log onto the webmail system. When
the predefined ratio is reached, the system
will automatically remove all your messages
in the trash box to allow new mails to come
through.

Why can't I open my attachment? |

ANS: This is due to a setting in Internet
Explorer (IE), once you cancel this setting,
you will be able to open the attachment.
Instructions:
(i) Open IE, choose "internet options" from
"tools"
(ii) Choose "Advanced" -> "Browsing"
(iii)If "Always send URLs as UTF-8 (requires
restart)" is being chosen, please remove
the "tick" from the check box and press
"Apply" -> "OK"
By doing the above, you will be able to
open the attachments [close]

Why did I lose the script in the email with
html? |

ANS: In order to prevent the spread of virus
through scripts, webmail has filtered and
coded the scripts in emails with html.。[close]

How many recipients can there be in one email?
|

ANS: The setting for the existing system is
100, maximum. [close]

If I am located outside of my hometown's time
zone, how could I set the time so that the
incoming and outgoing mails will display the
local time? |

ANS: You can set the time from here:
Logon to webmail; choose "Settings" ->
"Mail Preferences" -> "Time Zone". This
way, the time of the emails will display the

When I receive a junk mail, how do I blacklist
the sender of this email? |

ANS: Open the email, choose "Block Address",
press "Update". This selected email address
will be added to the "Block Address list"
and will not be allowed to send any emails

Can I filter emails with pre-selected keywords?

ANS: Corpease webmail system allows users
to filter key words in the email subject matter,
senders and recipients. You can also refuse
to receive emails of a specific size, predefined
by yourself. You can do this via "Settings"
-> "Message Rules" -> "Filters". You
can have up to 100 filtering rules.[close]

Where can I complain about junk mails? |

ANS: Please forward any junk mails to abuse@corpease.net
and state the reasons why you consider those
mails are unwanted mails. We have administrators
assigned to handle all your junk mail complaints
and will regularly update the rules for anti-spamming.

Can we use our company logo on the webmail
interface ? |

ANS: Yes, you surely can. All you have to
do is to email your company logo in transparent
gif format with the size of 150*50 (w*h) to
corpmail@corpease.net. (Please remember to

How do we create a Corpease webmail login
page for our company? |

ANS: We provide a standard as well as a customised
Corpease webmail login template. If you encounter
any problems during customization, please
let us know and we will provide the support

How do I add sender's email address onto my
Address Book? |

ANS: When you open your incoming email,
go to "Add Address" and you will be in the
"Personal Address" interface. The email address
and the name of the sender will be automatically
set into the corresponding fields. You can
freely amend and or input other related information
and press "OK" to update the record. [close]

support? |

ANS: Apart from English Corpease webmail system
also supports traditional and simplified Chinese.

Can I change the style of the interface for
the webmail? |

ANS: At the moment, we have 4 different themes
of interface (please refer to http://www.corpease.net/pattern.htm),
Each domain can choose its own theme. For
individual settings, please choose from "Settings"
-> "Account Information" -> "Webmail
Style" and press "Update". Refresh your browser
and your choice of theme will appear. [close]

How do I set the anti-virus function? |

ANS: You can go to webmail and choose "Settings"
-> "Antivirus". Make your choice and "Update".

forget, what can I do? |

ANS: You can use the "Time Set" function.
After you compose your mail, you can set the
designated time when you want to have the
email sent out. This function is located at
the bottom of "Compose Mail". If you need
to amend the time and/or date, you can go
to "Settings" -> "Time Set". [close]

Why am I not able to delete a folder which
is created by myself? |

ANS: If there are still emails in this folder,
you will not be able to delete it. This is
to prevent you from deleting any emails accidentally.
If you want to remove a folder, just point
to the trash under the "Delete" column and
click, this folder will be deleted. However,
you will not be able to delete system folders
such as "Inbox", "Draft", "Sent", and "Trash".

Why does the email system indicate that my
login or password is not correct? |

ANS: Please consult your company's system
administrator to see if he/she has amended
the user login and password. He/She can help
you to reset the password. If you still cannot
login after he/she resets it, then please

his/her password to the administration system? |

ANS: Since it is a corporate email system,
we need to be very careful when we are requested
to change the password for a company. We need
your company to fax us your request with your
company chop and state clearly your domain
name and the contact details. Upon receiving
all the requested details, we will amend the
password for you within one working day. Our

if I want to develop a website, can I use
this domain name? |

ANS: You only need to give us the WWW IP address
of your website. We will then translate your
WWW IP address into a domain name. After we
translate it, you will be able to visit your

What if I need to expand the mailbox capacity?

ANS: Please contact sales@corpease.net
and advise how much you need to expand.
We will advise you the price for the requested
capacity. You could pay us through bank transmit
the money through T/T. Once we receive your
payment, we will increase the requested capacity
for your. This action will not affect the

Why am I not able to receive mails from other
mailbox? |

ANS: (i) If you cannot receive external emails,
please check with your domain name provider
and check to see if the MX record of your
domain name is correct.
(ii) If you cannot receive mails at all, please
check to see if your mailbox has reached its
full capacity, or it the capacity is too small
which does not allow your mailbox to receive
any new mails.
(iii) Please check if you have activated the
"Auto Forward" function to your mailbox and
have not left copies in the server. [close]

ANS: You can use Netscape to visit our webmail
or you can use Netscape mail, you can use

what exactly is this? |

ANS: This is a returned email sent out from
our system. The reason for the return of the
original email is stated under the "The Coremail
Program". If you need to review the original
email, please check the eml document in the

I received a returned mail, but there was
no original eml document in the attachment,
why? |

ANS: Due to security reasons, the system only
return the eml attachment whose file size
is within a specified range will be returned.
If the file size exceeds the requirement,
the system will only include the first 1,000
characters and attached with the returned

What is SMTP (identification verification),
how do I set up this function? |

ANS: In Outlook Express, SMTP is called
identification verification. It requests
you to confirm your password before sending
out any emails. This will guarantee that
only you could send out any emails under
your name. At the same time, it helps to
avoid the interruption of any junk mails.
You need to do the followings so that you
could send out emails properly.
If you are using Outlook Express 4.x or
above, please do the followings:
(i) Go to Tools -> Accounts
(ii) Choose the designated account and choose
Properties
(iii) Then go to Servers and activate "My
server requires authentication" under Outgoing
Mail Server.
(iv) Press OK.

Can I do auto forwarding to more than one
email address? |

ANS: Yes. Choose Settings -> Auto Forward
-> Enable Auto Forward. Then you input
the email addresses, which you want your message
to be forwarded to in the box besides "Forward
To". You need to put a comma to separate each

How to export the email addresses from my
Outlook Express to my webmail address book?

ANS: Go to your Outlook Express and choose
File-> Export -> Address Book. The system
will then ask you to choose the document format.
Please choose "Text File (Comma Separated
Values) and then "Export". Finally, you need
to provide the file name and the location
of the file you want to export to. For e.g.
if the file name is address.csv, then you
could export this to the your webmail address
book. You just need to go to the "Import/Export"
page under "Addresses" on the webmail interface
and then choose address.csv file (use comma
as separators) and choose "Import". [close]

How to enable SSL function in my Outlook?

ANS: If you are using Outlook Express or Outlook
to send and or receive your emails, you can
choose to use SSL to be the safe protocol
for SMTP, POP and IMAP. In order to do this,
you need to go to Tools -> Accounts. Highlight
the account and choose "Properties". Then
choose "Server" and change the IP address
of the SMTP, POP and IMAP to be mail.corpease.net,
and then activate the box where it says "My
server requires authentication" under "Outgoing
Mail Server".
Then choose "Advanced" and input 994 for SMTP,
995 for POP3 and 993 for IMAP and activate
the two boxes which say "This server requires
a secure connection (SSL) and then choose
"OK".

ANS: An email is composed of Letterhead, Content,
and Attachment. Letterhead includes information
such as sender, recipient, delivery time,
time zone, etc.. Normally, the admin personnel

any problems on a particular email. To obtain
